Janet Jackson cancels rescheduled US dates

Janet Jackson has announced that she will not be making up the dates of her US tour that she postponed due to illness earlier this autumn.
The star was forced to cancel dates in several cities because she was suffering from migraine-associated vertigo, as previously reported.
She has now canceled the rescheduled dates due to "conflicts in the singer's schedule", according to tour promoter Live Nation.
The originally scheduled dates were:
Montreal, QC Centre Bell (September 29)
Boston, MA TD Banknorth Garden (October 1)
Philadelphia, PA Wachovia Center (2)
Greensboro, NC Greensboro Coliseum (4)
Fort Lauderdale, FL BankAtlantic Center (7)
Uncasville, CT Mohegan Sun Arena (11)
Syracuse, NY Turning Stone (13)
Refunds for the shows will be available at the points of purchase.

Janet Jackson’s diet book shelved
Janet Jackson’s plans to release a diet book have been shelved, because the singer has piled on the pounds, according to reports.
The 42 year old had signed a deal to share her weightloss secrets with fans after shedding an astonishing 27 kilograms (60 pounds) in just four months back in 2006.
But sources claim the pop superstar has added pounds during her current Rock Witchu tour, prompting her publishing bosses to back out of the deal.
