Due to overwhelming public demand, the Grammy Award winning Eagles have added two extra UK shows to their 'Long Road Out Of Eden' World Tour. As well as performing at Glasgow’s Hampden Park Stadium, Birmingham NIA Arena and Manchester MEN Arena on 4th July, 7th July and 11th July respectively, the band have also added second shows at both Birmingham NIA on the 8th July and Manchester MEN on the 12th July. These concerts are produced by Live Nation, SJM, MCD and DFConcerts (Glasgow only).

Following on from their universally acclaimed No1 album Long Road Out Of Eden, the band – Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, will be performing a wide range of material from past and present, including 'How Long' and 'Busy Being Fabulous', as well as classic songs such as 'Hotel California', 'Desperado', 'Take It To The Limit', 'Life In The Fast Lane' and 'Take It Easy'.

Tickets for the extras shows went on sale on Tuesday 16th December at 9am.

Long Road Out of Eden has been a huge success globally and was the band’s first album to reach No 1 in the UK charts. With 800,000 copies shipped, it was the sixth best selling CD of 2007, despite being on sale for only 9 weeks. Internationally, the album has sold in excess of 2.2 million albums and has topped charts in the UK, Australia, Greece, India, New Zealand, The Netherlands and Norway. Nine territories went platinum (with UK and Australia producing double-platinum) and fifteen gold albums. In their native USA, 'Long Road out of Eden' has received 7 times platinum status by the RIAA. Released on October 30th 2007, the album debuted at No1 and became the biggest selling album by a group in 2007.

'How Long', the first single taken from their Long Road Out Of Eden album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with vocals. The Eagles have been nominated for 35 Grammy Awards.

The Eagles have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide, earning five No1 U.S. singles and four Grammy Awards. Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is the best selling album of all time, exceeding sales of 29 million. The band’s Hotel California and Greatest Hits Volume 2 have sold more than 16 and 11 million albums respectively. They were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
