Once Upon a Time in America is the best film ever made, in my opinion that is, also think L.A. Confidential and Philidelphia are tops.

LA Confidential is terrific. I really like Swimming with Sharks as well.

Dave, if you like Philadelphia (great film, Denzel should have won as Oscar as well) you might enjoy An Early Frost, starring Aidan Quinn. It was made in 1986, and he plays a lawyer who has the AIDS virus. It is a brilliant movie, but I needed plenty os tissues to mop up my tears.

Have seen An Early Frost, Ben Gazzara was in it as well i think, not a bad film.
