Is Britney set for secret British shows?

Britney Spears' global return is gathering pace after her mother confirmed secret plans of a comeback tour.

Mrs Spears' slip of the tongue comes amid rumours her daughter is to complete her return with a world tour opening with a Las Vegas spectacular at New Year.

'She's releasing music, she has plans to do tours and some other little secrets that I can't tell you.

"It's going to be fabulous though', said mum. Dates on British shores are reportedly said to be on Brit's agenda.

Britey was tipped to play in Britain before the end of the year, and now fans hope this hint could mean she will be back soon.

But mum says Britney's efforts to return to her former glory are being scuppered by prying eyes, pestering her during her comeback training.

'She is finally getting herself back on the straight and narrow, but is still finding it hard to trust people again,' said Spears.

'The fact someone has secretly recorded rehearsals and leaked her single on to the internet has really upset her,' complained mum.

And mum says Britney, 26, doesn't want her latest attempt to return from her meltdown to be panned, like her drowsy knickers and bra effort at the MTV Video Awards in 2007.

'She's really nervous about her comeback, probably more than last time.'

Meanwhile, Britney is forging forward with plans to seek more privacy, reportedly selling her LA mansion for £3.95million.

The six-bedroom, six bathroom mansion in Studio City has been described on real estate sales listings as an 'exquisite gated Italian Renaissance-inspired villa'.

Her father and financial guardian, Jamie Spears, reportedly sort permission to sell the hill-top property his daughter has lived in for two years.

A source says: 'Having more privacy and wide open spaces for her to raise her boys has been a goal for some time.'
