Blink-182's Travis Barker seriously injured in plane crash
Blink 182's Travis Barker has been seriously injured in a plane crash in South Carolina today (September 20).
The drummer and DJ Adam Goldstein are the only two survivors out of the six reportedly on board.
According to BBC News, Barker is currently being treated for burns after the accident.
The Learjet was attempting to take off, before it swerved off the runway and crashed on a road, according to a Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson.
Since Blink 182 announced their hiatus in 2005, Barker has created a number of high-profile remixes for artists including Flo Rida and Soulja Boy, and drummed for all the performers at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 7 this year.

Experts studying the jet crash that left former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ Adam Goldstein seriously injured and killed four others have said it may have been caused by a tyre blowout.
A safety official investigating the crash said that a cockpit voice recording indicated that the crew had tried unsuccessfully to abort take-off, reports BBC News.
The Learjet crashed into a nearby road shortly after leaving the runway in Columbia, South Carolina, on Friday night (September 19).
Both Barker and Goldstein remain in hospital, having suffered second and third-degree burns from the crash.

Re: Blink-182's Travis Barker seriously injured in plane crash
The causes of death of the victims of the Learjet crash in South Carolina on Saturday range from burns to the impact, according to reports.
The two crew in the plane- pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31 and co-pilot James Bland, 52- died within minutes of the crash from smoke inhalation and burns, while Chris Baker, 29 and Charles Still, 25 died from the impact of the crash.
Former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein survived the crash after they managed to jump out of the plane within seconds of the crash. The pair are currently in critical but stable condition at a Georgia hospital and are being treated for first and second degree burns. Doctors say they are expected to make a full recovery.
According to the Associated Press, the pilots were burned on their entire bodies, but the post-mortem was not able to establish if they were conscious in the minutes before their deaths.
The National Transportation Safety Board has not yet concluded what caused the crash, but it is reported that the crew thought a tire exploded during take-off and they tried to abort, but were unable to stop the plane.

Re: Blink-182's Travis Barker seriously injured in plane crash
Travis Barker and Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein managed to escape the burning Learjet wreckage last weekend by sliding down a wing on the right side of the plane, it has been revealed.
According to police officer Josh Shumpert of the South Congaree Police Department, the pair told him they were on fire as they jumped from the doomed jet and that they had to tackle one another to extinguish the flames that left them both with second and third-degree burns.
Shumpert, who was the second person to arrive at the scene of the crash, said that Barker and Goldstein said they “slid down the wing on the right side of the plane. They said they were on fire, and that they tackled each other and put each other out."
Shumpert tells people.com that the pair were pacing on the side of the road and were in shock, particularly Barker.
He also said they were both wearing shorts, and that Barker was wearing a hat.
Barker and Goldstein were taken to Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors' Hospital in Augusta, GA and were treated for their burns. The pair did not suffer from any other injuries and doctors expect them to make a full recovery.
The four others travelling on the plane perished in the accident. They were pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31 and co-pilot James Bland, 52, Barker’s assistant Chris Baker, 29 and security guard Charles Still, 25.
