Babyshambles confirm new album plans
Babyshambles have confirmed that they will release a new album next year.
Drummer Adam Ficek told BBC 6Music that the four-piece plan to reconvene in November to begin work on their third album.
"It will definitely be out in 2009," he said. "We're choosing producers, and then in November I think we'll reconvene and really start kicking it into shape."
Ficek also talked about Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty and his former Libertines bandmate Carl Barat's performance together earlier this week.
Pete Doherty and Carl Barat played onstage together at the Prince Of Wales pub in London on Wednesday (September 17).
"Those two are really good friends still," he said. "I think there are obviously a lot of issues they need to talk about, and settle up on, but I don't think this will be the last time that we'll see them together."
