I don't think they will be as popular as they once were.

I actually think that they will do well though as they have that middle aged audience. It could be quite lucrative for them.

I don't think he will ever top the charts like he used to.

I think the tour will amount huge interest, especially from us old fogies.

Michael Jackson has announced he will not be a part of the Jackson Five reunion.

The Thriller star released a statement on Thursday through his representative Dr Tohme stating he would not be joining his brother's Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Tito on their comeback tour, E! Online reports.

Michael said: "My brothers and sisters have my full love and support, and we've certainly shared many great experiences, but at this time I have no plans to record or tour with them. I am now in the studio developing new and exciting projects that I look forward to sharing with my fans in concert soon."

This could come as a blow to the rest of the Jackson family.

Jermaine Jackson told the Australian Associated Press earlier this week that all five brothers were on board the comeback train and that little sister Janet Jackson would be opening the show.

Jermaine said: "This has been a long time coming for the Jackson family to get back together.

"What we've been doing is working on the music and all the logistics. It is going to be more like a family affair, Janet's going to open and, of course, the original Jackson Five: Michael, Randy and the whole family.
