The Wombats - Is This Christmas?

Finally, a proper Christmas song, about Christmas! The single 'Is this Christmas' is released by The Wombats through 14th Floor Records on the 15th December is looking pretty good for itself. I seriously doubt it will go anywhere near the Top 10 in the charts, thanks to The X Factor, with their almost guaranteed Christmas No.1 slot for the winner. It is a very good track though, that is worth a good listen to.

And as Christmas is all about giving, The Wombats will be giving all of the profits from the song to MENCAP. The single is their first track to be released since their album, 'The WOMBATS Proudly Present...A Guide to Love, Loss and Desperation' in November 2007. The track will be available to listen to via CD, 2 x 7" and of course, download. The track will also be accompanied with a video with a very special guest appearance by the one and only, Les Dennis!
