Zombies attempt Michael Jackson 'Thriller' world record
"Zombies" are been called upon to help break world record around Michael Jackson's song 'Thriller' today (October 31).
Fans at Nottingham's games festival GameCity will attempt to set a Halloween record by getting 1,000 people to copy the dance moves from the song's iconic video.
The current world record stands at 1,124 zombies, which was set in Pittsburgh last year.
The would-be zombies must arrive at 2pm (GMT) with costumes, make-up and choreography provided at the city's Old Market Square, reports BBC News
The record attempt will take place at 1700 GMT.

Re: Zombies attempt Michael Jackson 'Thriller' world record
A new world record for dancing zombies has been set in Nottingham.
The official count put the number of people performing Michael Jackson's Thriller dance at 1,227 - 199 more than the previous record.
Organisers of an annual games festival had put out an appeal for volunteers to fill the Old Market Square and provided costumes, make-up and choreography.
The dancing began at 1700 BST but it took officials from Guinness half-an-hour to verify the result.
The old record had been set in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, US, on 28 October 2007.
Margaret Robinson, who helped arrange the event, said: "It has been fantastic, we have had a huge turnout, far better than we expected, you can't move for dancing zombies.
"We are all zombies tonight, we are all undead, I am covered in blood - very happy."
In March the city also claimed the record for massed Robin Hoods when 1,119 costumed people gathered at the castle.
