This is beefy, finger-blistering rock from a retooled outfit given added welly with the introduction of guitarist Paul Mullen after the departure of founder member Alex Pennie.

The first new music from This Is A Fix – the follow-up to their double-gold debut album – shows the men from Cowbridge haven’t lost any of the fire in their belly.

Rob Hawkins sings of escaping small-town traps, using the ultimate icon of movie cool to rev up, take flight and let rip.
