Former Pink Floyd manager dies after two years in coma
Former Pink Floyd manager Bryan Morrison has died after spending more than two years in a coma. The 66-year-old, who began his career in music as manager of The Pretty Things, died as a result of severe brain injuries sustained in a polo accident in 2006. Famed for his work with Pink Floyd, Morrison went on to work with T-Rex, Elton John and Wham! However, his passion for polo took priority in later life and Morrison went on to found his own club, the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club, where he would later sustain the injuries which would eventually kill him. His death comes less than a fortnight after Pink Floyd founder Richard Wright died after a short battle with cancer.
