Rage Against The Machine, Babyshambles, QOTSA to kick off Reading Festival
Rage Against The Machine are set to headline the first day of the Reading Festival tonight (August 22) with a set on the Main Stage after Queens Of The Stone Age and The Fratellis.
The rockers, who previously played the event in 1996 and 2000, will be going head-to-head with Babyshambles, who are set to headline the NME/Radio 1 Stage. They will play after sets from the likes of The Wombats, Vampire Weekend, MGMT and Pete And The Pirates.
Biffy Clyro, Serj Tankian and Dizzee Rascal are also set to perform on the Main Stage, while Future Of The Left will kick off the day's musical action on the NME/Radio 1 Stage at midday (BST).
Elsewhere on the Reading site Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip headline the Festival Republic Stage. They will play after Does It Offend You Yeah?, Late Of The Pier, Friendly Fires and These New Puritans.
