Elvis Presley's fingerprints to be auctioned

Items including Elvis Presley's fingerprints are coming up for auction this month.

Appearing on Presley's application for a concealed gun permit, the prints are thought to be the only set from the icon in existence.

The memorabilia auction, entitled 'It's More Than Rock and Roll', will take place September 4 at the Idea Generation Gallery, London.

Other items up for grabs include a hand-carved version of John Lennon's 'Sexy Sadie' lyrics from 1968 called 'The Private Mind of John Lennon', Marilyn Monroe's bustier from the movie 'Some Like It Hot' and a painting of legend Jimi Hendrix by The Rolling Stones' guitarist Ronnie Wood.
