Ever been bullied online?

Abusive emails, cruel instant messages or being picked on in a chat room - have you ever been bullied online?
Facebook, Google and Microsoft have signed up to a new group created to protect children from the dangers of the internet.
The UK Council for Child Internet Safety (UKCCIS) says it will tackle problems like violent games, dangerous chat rooms and online bullying.
Research shows that 40% of children on social networking sites set their profile so anyone can see it without their parents realising it.
There are already bodies that police the web but this group will report directly to the Prime Minister.

I always check my daughters Bebo page just to make sure their are no unwanted messages.

You can't bully someone online, unless you know them offline. That's my view anyway. So all these idiots claiming bullying in chatrooms etc, are talking shite.
Obviously kids can bully other kids thru their bebo and such like, but that's different. That's just an extension of the real-life bullying ... and that's a serious issue of course.
