I think any upgrade to the forum will attract people in some way. Everyone has different likes/dislikes when it comes to forums. I personally don't bother with portals or front pages. I'd rather go straight into the threads. But, not everyone thinks that way. So I guess the more features you make available, the wider audience you will attract - in theory.

I'd like to see more people come around here. Barry puts a helluva lot of work into this place, and it's a shame there's only a handful of regulars who use it at the moment. But then again, everyone has to start somewhere, and all the big forums were once small.
