Search Latest topics | U2 reveal new album release date Fri Dec 19, 2008 1:13 pm by Baz ![]() U2 have revealed the release date for their highly anticipated forthcoming album. 'No Line On The Horizon' is due out on March 2, 2009. It was originally expected to be released earlier this year, but the album was delayed after the band decided to scrap several tracks they'd recorded with producer Rick Rubin and record new tracks, as previously reported. The follow-up to 2004's 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb' features songs recorded with long-time producers Brian Eno, and Daniel Lanois, with additional production by another old band ally, Steve Lillywhite. The record was written and recorded in cities around the world, including Fez, Morocco, Dublin, New York and London.
