Rick rolls in to George's shoes

RICK ASTLEY is replacing BOY GEORGE for a UK Arena tour.

The jailed Culture Club star was due to headline the Here and Now tour in May, along with fellow eighties acts HAZEL O’CONNOR, KID CREOLE AND THE COCONUTS and KIM WILD.

Following Boy George’s 15-month sentence for false imprisonment, the promoters asked the Never Gonna Give You Up hitster to step in.



Rick was the shock recipient of December’s MTV Best Act Ever after the infamous phenomenon of ‘Rickrolling’ saw him get the greatest public vote.


The seven venue Here and Now tour kicks off on May 14th at Liverpool’s Echo Arena.
