The bloke who lied is clearly a chancer. If he was ma son, I'd give him a clout for that, but I wouldn't be too upset. It's only a telly show after all... there's worse lies to tell. LoL

No, it was this girl...

Cheers Tom... that's the one I was thinking of.

You need the embedded code. Not the url. And you need to put it in the film strip icon.

You have to wonder about these people?

I mean, they surely have other people in their lives.. a mother, a father, brother/sister, friends, classmates, workmates?..
And, surely at some point they've "rehearsed" for their audition in front of some of these people...
And, surely some of these people have ears...

So how on earth do they still think they can sing!?

My family are brutally honest with me about the fact that I can't sing. haha.. It doesn't stop me from "havin a go" while I'm driving or whatever, but I'm under no illusions. I know that I won't make it big in the music world. lol

Re: X Factor 2008

BRITNEY Spears is returning to Britain to star on The X Factor.

The pop megastar, 26, will perform comeback single Womanizer on the show in December.

The appearance is her first visit here since her Onyx Hotel tour more than four years ago — and marks her continued recovery after a public meltdown last year.

An insider on Simon Cowell’s ITV1 hit said: “Everyone is thrilled. To have Britney involved is a massive coup. They expect ratings to go through the roof when her performance airs.”

Meanwhile, Britney’s mum has denied pushing her into the limelight — and said she became famous too young.

Lynne, 53, said on US telly: “Britney pushed me. What was I to do? Persuade my child not to go after her dreams?

“She was in high school, was the homecoming maid and was most popular. She had everything going for her.

“I could not understand why she wanted to leave such a happy little nest.”

Lynne said everything was “wonderful” during her meteoric rise after 1999 debut hit Baby One More Time — but they weren’t prepared for the “ugly side of fame” which led to her breakdown.

It saw the star shave her hair off and lose custody of her two kids.

Lynne said she did everything she could to help her at the time.

But she thinks twice-divorced Britney, who releases her sixth album Circus in December, is now “headed to the top again”. She said: “We’re through the storm and looking at the sunshine.”

Girl band Bad Lashes could go all the way on The X Factor - as long as they don't go too over the top at boot camp.

Group member Stacey-Lacey told me: "We've been told to tone it down a bit for the boot camp phase, and to have a think about one of us becoming the band's lead singer.

"I think as long as we keep it simple and continue being ourselves, we'll be fine."

I really liked that girl who's dad took her there this Saturday. The one who's mother died when she was 7.

Cheryl Cole believes that she has the winner of this year’s X Factor in her category.

The Girls Aloud star has spoken openly in the past about wanting to mentor the groups category saying: ‘I really want to get the groups. There have been so many brilliant groups auditioning.’

And it looks like the new judge may have got what she wished for.

Although show bosses are keeping hush-hush over which judge has what, Chezza can’t resist dropping a few hints.

‘I’ve definitely got the category I wanted,’ said the judge to The Sun.

‘I don’t need to win for me. I need one of my acts to win – and I know I’ve got one there.’
